Froberg Aerospace seeks an outstanding and dedicated individual to join the team in its development of next generation small satellite propulsion systems. This is summer internship at Froberg's new headquarters located in Champaign, Illinois. This position is an opportunity to conduct hands on work on never before realized spacecraft propulsion systems and be part of a small, fast-paced startup. -Must be actively pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in a STEM field, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-GPA 3.5 or higher.
-Hands on experience through previous design/project team, lab research, internship or work experience.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to accomplish tasks with limited resources at a rapid pace.
-Proficiency in MS Windows OS and MS Office applications.
-Experience with engineering software such as Labview, Solidworks, ANSYS, or other is a plus.
-Must be able to work a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks beginning in May/June 2019 at our Champaign, IL offices.
-Must pass background check with results satisfactory to Froberg Aerospace, LLC.
-Must be able to provide own transportation and housing.
